PSYK PSYK ETF
What is PSYK?
PSYK tracks an index of companies with business activities in psychedelic treatments and neurology biopharmaceuticals. Stocks are selected using a natural process algorithm and weighted by market-cap within the fund.
PSYK Factset Analytics Insight
PSYK provides exposure to a narrow group of companies from developed markets that are focused on the use of psychedelic treatments. Such treatments are believed to be able to change or enhance sensory perceptions, thought processes, and energy levels. The index uses a natural language process algorithm that uses key words in company filings to identify companies with business activity in the field. Companies are ranked based on key word “hits” in their information for frequency, relevance, and context. If fewer than 25 companies qualify, the index will include neurology biopharmaceutical companies. These companies manufacture products for treatments involving the central and peripheral nervous systems or the development of gene-based medicine for neurological diseases. Stocks selected for the index are weighted by market-cap and subject to capping requirements. The index is reconstituted annually in March and rebalanced quarterly.
