RSPY Factset Analytics Insight
RSPY is a fund-of-funds that actively invests in sector ETFs, or ETFs that focus on one of the 11 individual sectors of the S&P 500, namely information technology, health care, financials, consumer discretionary, communication services, industrials, consumer staples, energy, utilities, real estate, and materials. The sub-adviser uses a proprietary sector selection model that utilizes macroeconomic, financial and market data to select and allocate the fund’s resources to respective sector ETFs. In order to maximize returns, the model reviews technical factors to estimate which sectors should be overweighted, underweighted or weighted approximately the same as the S&P 500. The Fund may not always have complete exposure to all 11 sectors at the same moment, but it is required to be invested in at least five at all times. Additionally, actively managing a fund may result in high portfolio turnover costs.
