UYGProShares Ultra Financials
UYG Fund Description
UYG provides 2x leveraged exposure to a market-cap-weighted index of US financial services companies.
UYG Factset Analytics Insight
UYG offers 2x the daily performance of the Dow Jones U.S. Financials Index—a total-market, market-cap-weighted index of US financial firms as classified by Dow Jones. The index specifically includes US-domiciled international banks, insurance companies, regional banks, and various diversified financial companies. Index constituents are weighted by market-cap and rebalanced on an annual basis. As a levered product with daily resets, UYG is designed as a short-term trading tool and not a long-term investment vehicle. As a result, long-term returns could materially differ from those of the underlying index due to daily compounding.
