VPU Fund Description

VPU tracks a broad-based, market-cap-weighted index of US utilities companies.

VPU Factset Analytics Insight

VPU is the poster child of US Utilities ETFs. It offers broad exposure to the market at one of the segment's lowest costs, thus not surprisingly earning our Analyst's Pick. The deviations the fund takes away from the benchmark are tiny in scope and cause very minute performance deviations. The fund has small allocations to holding companies which we consider to be outside utilities, but VPU still captures the segment nicely. It's easy to trade, with strong on-screen and underlying liquidity. It's also a markedly Efficient fund, with a low expense ratio and excellent tracking.

VPU MSCI ESG Analytics Insight
