IXUS Pulls in $1.4B as International Equity ETFs Clean Up
- International equity funds lead inflows, with IXUS pulling in $1.4 billion.

The iShares Core MSCI Total International Stock ETF (IXUS) pulled in $1.4 billion, boosting its assets under management to $42.4 billion, according to data provided by FactSet. This came as stocks rose Thursday, with the Nasdaq Composite gaining 1.5% following strong earnings from Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) and Meta Platforms Inc. (META).
The iShares iBoxx $ High Yield Corporate Bond ETF (HYG) pulled in $486 million, while the MicroSectors FANG+ 3 Leveraged ETNs (FNGB) saw inflows of $438.6 million. The Invesco MSCI USA ETF (PBUS) added $326 million.
On the outflows side, the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY) experienced redemptions of $3.9 billion despite the S&P 500 rising 0.6% for the day. The Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) saw outflows of nearly $693 million, while the SPDR Bloomberg 1-3 Month T-Bill ETF (BIL) lost $660 million.
The international equity asset class was the biggest gainer with inflows of $2.1 billion, while U.S. equity ETFs experienced the largest outflows, shedding $5.3 billion as weekly jobless claims increased to 241,000. Overall, ETFs saw net outflows of $4.2 billion.
