VOO Pulls In $757 Million Amid Market's Fifth Day of Gains

The Vanguard S&P 500 ETF (VOO) attracted $756.8 million, growing its assets to just under $601 billion, according to etf.com daily fund flows data. The inflow came as the S&P 500 edged up 0.1% to close right under 5,529, notching its fifth straight positive session.
The Vanguard Mid-Cap ETF (VO) pulled in $667.5 million, while the iShares Broad USD High Yield Corporate Bond ETF (USHY) gained $341.7 million. The SPDR Dow Jones Industrial Average ETF Trust (DIA) collected $240.7 million as the Dow added 114.1 points amid optimism about potential trade deals.
The SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY) experienced the largest outflows at $2.4 billion despite the market's advance. The Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ) saw $1.3 billion exit ahead of earnings from four "Magnificent Seven" companies this week. The iShares Russell 2000 ETF (IWM) lost $893.7 million, and the SPDR Bloomberg 1-3 Month T-Bill ETF (BIL) saw outflows of nearly $431 million as bond funds faced pressure.
U.S. equity ETFs saw outflows of $2.4 billion even as the market continued its recovery from April's volatility. International equity funds gained $648.3 million, while commodity ETFs added $234.9 million. Overall, ETFs experienced net outflows of $504.7 million for the day.
