Yesterday, two of Invesco’s target-maturity bond ETFs hit their maturity and saw their last day of trading. The Invesco BulletShares 2018 Corporate Bond ETF (BSCI) and the Invesco BulletShares 2018 High Yield Corporate Bond ETF (BSJI) left the market, with $571 million and $487 million in assets under management, respectively.

Although the maturation was scheduled from the time the funds launched, the ETFs still contribute to the closure count for the year, which stands at more than 150, beating 2017’s record of 138 closures by a significant margin.

The day before Christmas was also the last day of trading for the Tactile Analytics ETF (ARVR), a unique product that originally launched two years ago as the WEAR ETF (WEAR). It did not attract much in the way of assets, and changed its name and index in July, before its closure was announced in December.
