This week, a few ETFs have effected or announced changes with regard to their names and underlying indexes.

Yesterday, the $36 million BlueStar TA-BIGITech Israel Technology ETF (ITEQ) simplified its name to the BlueStar Israel Technology ETF.

Finally, as of May 4, the $121 million O'Shares FTSE Russell Small Cap Quality Dividend ETF (OUSM) will switch its underlying benchmark from the FTSE USA Small Cap Qual/Vol/Yield 3% Capped Factor Index to the FTSE USA Small Cap ex Real Estate 2Qual/Vol/Yield 3% Capped Factor Index. No reason was provided for the exclusion of the real estate sector in the related filings.
