Today  iShares is launching an ETF that complements its $15 billion blockbuster, the iShares Edge MSCI Min Vol USA ETF (USMV). The newest addition to the ETF giant’s lineup, the iShares Edge MSCI Min Vol USA Small-Cap ETF (SMMV), is making its debut on the Bats Global Markets Exchange, with an expense ratio of 0.20%.

SMMV’s benchmark is derived from the MSCI USA Small Cap Index, which represents about 14% of the total U.S. free-float market capitalization. The parent index’s components are reweighted using optimization tools designed to minimize volatility.
