ETF Watch: JP Morgan Plans Small Cap Fund
Financial giant plans to expand its ‘Diversified Return’ ETF lineup with small-cap addition.
J.P. Morgan has filed for another ETF to fill out its multifactor family of “Diversified Return” ETFs. The JPMorgan Diversified Return U.S. Small Cap Equity ETF will list on the NYSE Arca exchange.
J.P. Morgan’s Diversified Return family of ETFs already includes eight other funds, including two currency-hedged products. The methodology highlights the quality, value and momentum factors.
The small-cap fund will be based on an index that draws its components from the Russell 2000 Index. The methodology is designed to eliminate companies with unfavorable qualities relative to the targeted factors and to distribute risk in order to avoid concentrations.
The filing did not include a ticker or expense ratio.
