Carbon Collective, a climate solutions investment advisor, launched the Carbon Collective Climate Solutions U.S. Equity ETF (CCSO) on Tuesday. The fund comes with an expense ratio of 0.35% and lists on the Nasdaq stock market.

CCSO is dedicated to the climate solutions space, offering investors a broad portfolio of approximately 200 U.S.-listed companies that are dedicated to providing solutions to address climate change.

Companies must generate at least 50% of their revenue through climate solutions to be included in CCSO’s portfolio. Currently, companies eligible for inclusion in the portfolio must fall into the following six categories: green utility, waste management, biofuel, carbon capture and sequestration, water and water utilities, or plant-based diet companies.

The detrimental impacts of climate change on different sectors of society are ever-evolving and escalating rapidly, from hotter temperatures and droughts to damaged ecosystems and reduced food production.

Carbon Collective is focused on finding economically viable alternatives to fossil –fuel-reliant businesses and encouraging investors to expand their portfolios and reinvest in companies that are doing their part to reduce their carbon footprints and incorporate a climate-solutions-oriented policy.

“With Carbon Collective and CCSO, investors can level up from ‘less bad’ portfolios to holding the companies actually solving our greatest global challenge, climate change,” states the company’s website.
