The SEC made a big move when it approved the 19b-4 filings from several would-be spot Ethereum ETF issuers on May 23.

But the spot ether ETF saga isn’t over. What are the next steps before these funds can officially go live? And what happens when they do?

In this episode of Talk ETFs, etf.com Senior Analyst Sumit Roy sits down with Bitwise Asset Management’s Chief Investment Officer, Matt Hougan, to discuss.

Bitwise is the issuer of the Bitwise Bitcoin ETF (BITB), a spot bitcoin ETF that launched earlier this year and which has already accumulated $2.5 billion in assets under management.

In addition to ether ETFs, Hougan discusses what other cryptocurrency ETFs investors could potentially see in the future.

Talk ETFs is a weekly video series hosted by etf.com’s Senior Analyst Sumit Roy. Episodes highlight up-to-the-minute investing trends and strategies with commentary from leading experts in the ETF industry.
