Could we really see the launch of the first ether futures ETF? Perhaps no one can answer that question better than Stuart Barton, co-founder and CIO of Volatility Shares. His firm kicked off a wave of ether futures ETF filings when it applied to launch the Volatility Shares Ether Strategy ETF on July 28. That filing was followed by almost half a dozen more filings from competing issuers. In this Talk ETFs video, Barton sits down with etf.com’s Senior Analyst Sumit Roy to discuss the prospects for an ether futures ETF. He also gets into whether he believes a U.S.-listed spot bitcoin ETF is likely to be approved anytime soon.

Talk ETFs is a weekly video series hosted by etf.com’s Senior Analyst Sumit Roy. Episodes highlight up-to-the-minute investing trends and strategies with commentary from leading experts in the ETF industry.
