January’s consumer price index data was a shocker. Core inflation accelerated to its highest level in nine months, with consumer prices jumping 0.4% month-over-month.

Interest rates spiked, Fed rate cut expectations got pushed further out, and the stock market plunged in response to the number.

Are these moves justified or are markets being too short sighted?

In this Episode of Talk ETFs, Brian Jacobsen, chief economist at Annex Wealth Management, sits down with etf.com senior analyst Sumit Roy to discuss the latest market moves, as well as the outlook for stocks and bonds.
