Coming into 2024, the ETF share class was viewed as one of the biggest topics in the ETF space. But even though it was overshadowed by a big year for cryptocurrency ETFs, the share class issue is not going away.
With some of the biggest names in money management now requesting regulatory approval for ETF share classes, Sotiroff sees nothing but momentum behind the effort. And he says the fund companies are signaling confidence that approval is coming.
