U.S.-listed ETFs pulled in $22.7 billion in the week ending Friday, June 13, pushing year-to-date inflows to an impressive $462 billion. Despite late-week jitters over an escalation in fighting between Israel and Iran, investor sentiment remained resilient.

U.S. equity ETFs led the way with $9.1 billion of inflows, followed by international equity and U.S. fixed-income ETFs, which each gathered over $4 billion. International bond ETFs also saw notable demand, with $1.9 billion in net inflows.

UGL: Gold Shines as Geopolitical Hedge

Commodities ETFs brought in $1.5 billion—a strong showing—led by demand for gold. Investors appeared eager to hedge geopolitical risk, helping the leveraged ProShares Ultra Gold ETF (UGL) notch a surprising $1.1 billion in inflows, landing it in the week’s top 10. The more traditional SPDR Gold Shares (GLD) also gained $711 million.

Cryptocurrency remained in favor as well, with the iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) adding $747 million.

Top Equity & Bond Winners

The Vanguard S&P 500 ETF (VOO) dominated the leaderboard, raking in $14.4 billion last week. The fund now boasts over $80 billion of inflows in 2025 alone. The SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY) followed with $4.9 billion in net creations.

On the bond side, two Vanguard funds led the charge: the Vanguard Tax-Exempt Bond ETF (VTEB) and the Vanguard Total Bond Market ETF (BND), each pulling in around $1.5 billion.

International interest remained strong, with the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Asia ETF (EEMA) bringing in $861 million.

Notable Outflows

While most major ETFs saw inflows, a few popular names landed in the red. The iShares Core S&P 500 ETF (IVV), the Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ) and the Direxion Daily Semiconductor Bull 3X Shares (SOXL) topped the outflows list.
