Investors plowed $15.1 billion into US-listed exchange-traded funds during the week ending Friday, Feb. 7. That sent year-to-date inflows to more than $111 billion.

The Vanguard S&P 500 ETF (VOO) continued to be the most popular ETF of the year. It picked up $2.2 billion of fresh inflows. Assets under management in the ETF currently stand at $628 billion, just a few billion behind the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY).

The S&P 500 plunged at the start of last week as President Donald Trump threatened to slap 25% tariffs on Mexico and Canada, but recovered by the end of the period after the tariffs were delayed by a month.

After selling off 4% during the first week of the year, the index has been flirting with all-time highs for the past few weeks.

Other Winners & Losers

Taking No. 2 on the weekly inflows list was the iShares 0-3 Month Treasury Bond ETF (SGOV), with inflows of more than a billion dollars.

That was followed by the $827 million that went into the iShares Expanded Tech-Software Sector ETF (IGV).

Meanwhile, on the outflows side of the ledger, the iShares 20+ Year Treasury Bond ETF (TLT), the iShares Russell 2000 ETF (IWM) the Vanguard Information Technology ETF (VGT), and the SPDR Portfolio S&P 500 High Dividend ETF (SPYD) topped the list.

Each of those ETFs had outflows of more than $1 billion.
