AMCA Fund Description

AMCA tracks a market-cap-weighted index of large- and midcap US stocks that generate a substantial portion of their revenue from domestic sales.

AMCA Factset Analytics Insight

AMCA screens the Russell 1000 Index for companies that have a domestic sales ratio (DSR) of 90% or greater. The DSR is the percentage of a company’s total revenues that come from domestic sources, based on the latest reported data at the end of August, when the fund is reconstituted. Stocks selected are weighted by market cap, with weights capped at 5% per individual stock and 33% per sector. The fund drastically underweights the heavily globalized tech industry, and instead favors more domestic sectors such as financials, utilities, real estate, and telecom. AMCA provides, very inexpensively, a targeted approach to invest in the US domestic economy.
