BUDXCannabis Growth ETF
BUDX Fund Description
BUDX is an actively managed fund of companies around the world related to cannabis, hemp and CBD.
BUDX Factset Analytics Insight
BUDX targets global firms of any capitalization with at least 50% of revenue derived from legal cannabis businesses. Such businesses are those involved in the innovation and development of equipment to cultivate cannabis, product and services that support the industry, cannabidiol (CBD) sale, pharmaceutical applications, consumption devices, cultivation and retail, and industrial hemp. The fund emphasizes that all firms must be publicly-traded, legally-operating businesses. In forming the portfolio, stocks are evaluated based on long-term growth potential, price momentum, financial viability, branding and market exposure, and management team experience. Cannabis companies that the advisor believes have strong sustainable competitive advantage are selected. The fund may also choose to use other ETFs and derivatives to gain its exposure. Prior to September 27, 2021, DUBX was formerly a mutual fund called Cannabis Growth Fund (ticker: CANIX), with $5 million in assets.
