DWINInvesco DWA Tactical Multi-Asset Income ETF
DWIN Fund Description
DWIN tracks an index of income-oriented ETFs selected by yield and relative price momentum and weighted equally. The fund may also defensively overweight US Treasury ETFs.
DWIN Factset Analytics Insight
DWIN uses a Dorsey Wright relative strength model to identify outperforming income plays. The fund typically holds five equally-weighted ETFs chosen from a stable of about two dozen (mostly from Invesco), with possible exposure to US Treasuries, other bonds, preferred stock, MLPs, real estate and high-yield equity. Coverage is global and potentially includes emerging markets and junk bonds. DWIN chooses its five holdings by sorting the list of eligible ETFs by relative price momentum, taking the top half, and then selecting the five funds with the highest current yields. The fund can also overweight US Treasurys when its relative strength methodology favors them, and might hold fewer than five ETFs during these times. DWIN reconstitutes monthly, so rapid portfolio turnover is a possibility. The fund launched in March 2016 and charges a reasonable fee.
