IPFF Fund Description
IPFF tracks a market-value-weighted index of non-US issued and traded preferred stocks.
IPFF Factset Analytics Insight
This fund is being delisted. The last day of trading will be August 23, 2021. IPFF ignores US-listed preferred stocks by design, instead holding those issued in other developed markets. As such, IPFF avoids much of the largest preferred-stock issuers in the world but focuses on other preferred securities from countries such as Canada and the UK. To be selected, preferred securities can be of any credit rating or maturity but must not have a mandatory conversion or scheduled maturity within the next 12 months. Holdings are then weighted by market value. The index committee regularly reviews the index and may revise policies relevant to selecting companies, among other relevant matters. The index is rebalanced quarterly.
