XBUYAmplify International Online Retail ETF
XBUY Fund Description
XBUY tracks an index of global ex-US stocks issued by firms with revenues dominated by online retail sales. Stocks are equally weighted within two liquidity buckets.
XBUY Factset Analytics Insight
XBUY offers straightforward exposure to international online retailers. The fund holds stock in firms from both developed and emerging markets that receive at least 90% of their revenue from online retail, online travel services, or online marketplaces. Stocks are equally weighted, except for firms in the bottom 20% by trading volume, which receive only half as much weight. In addition, geographic exposure is limited to 25% per country. This methodology adds diversity and keeps giant names from dominating the basket, but also introduces a bias to smaller, riskier firms. Note that XBUY’s online-only coverage is not intended to reflect the broader retail segment.
XBUY MSCI FaCS and Factor Box
MSCI FaCS is a standard method for evaluating and reporting the Factor characteristics of equity portfolios including ETFs. The Factor Box includes 6 Factors that MSCI has identified that historically provided a return premium. On the vertical axis, the Factor Groups, are displayed and the horizontal axis displays the Factor exposure, overweight, underweight or neutral.
