50+ ETFs Change Expense Ratios

A large range of ETFs from multiple issuers have raised or lowered their expense ratios at the turning of the month. The largest change was for the InfraCap MLP ETF (AMZA), which saw its price go up by 57 basis points. Meanwhile, the PowerShares KBW High Dividend Yield Financial Portfolio (KBWD) reduced its expense ratio by 59 basis points.

In all, 53 ETFs enacted changes in their expense ratios, with 20 lowering fees and 33 raising fees.

PowerShares and Global X had the most funds making expense ratio changes, at 11 each. The largest reduction for PowerShares occurred with KBWD; however, the expense ratio on its PowerShares DWA Momentum & Low Volatility Rotation Portfolio (DWLV) went up by 16 basis points. Global X’s changes ranged from a 22-basis-point reduction on its Global X MSCI Nigeria ETF (NGE) to a 4-basis-point increase for the expense ratio of its Global X FTSE Nordic Region ETF (GXF).
