Four fixed-income ETFs from BlackRock’s iShares unit have switched their indexes from benchmarks provided by Barclays to ones provided by Intercontinental Exchange subsidiary Interactive Data Pricing And Reference Data.

Yesterday, the iShares 1-3 Year Treasury Bond ETF (SHY | A-97), iShares 3-7 Year Treasury Bond ETF (IEI | A-73), iShares 7-10 Year Treasury Bond ETF (IEF | A-55) and iShares 20+ Year Treasury Bond ETF (TLT | A-83) all adopted new indexes. The affected funds are all large and liquid investment vehicles with between $6 billion and $12 billion each in assets under management.

SHY dropped the Barclays US 1-3 Year Treasury Bond Index in favor of the ICE US Treasury 1-3 Year Index, while IEI transitioned from the Barclays US 3-7 Year Treasury Bond Index to the ICE US Treasury 3-7 Year Index.

IEF stopped tracking the Barclays US 7-10 Year Treasury Bond Index and began tracking the ICE US Treasury 7-10 Year Index, and TLT stopped tracking the Barclays US 20+ Year Treasury Bond Index and adopted the ICE US Treasury 20+ Year Index.
