As of Friday, Jan. 13, the Pacer Global High Dividend ETF has changed its name to the Pacer Global Cash Cows Dividend ETF. It also changed the name of its index to the Pacer Global Cash Cows Dividend Index, while the fund’s ticker changed from PGHD to GCOW.

However, the changes are largely cosmetic, and the fund’s objective remains largely the same: It is focused on stocks with high dividend yields and high free cash flow. GCOW retains its 0.60% expense ratio as well.

Pacer appears to be folding GCOW into its “Cows” family of funds for marketing purposes. It launched the Pacer U.S. Cash Cows 100 ETF (COWZ) late last year; COWZ targets the 100 stocks in the Russell 1000 with the highest 12-month free cash flow yield. The firm has two more ETFs in registration that do the same with emerging markets and non-U.S. developed markets.
