IndexIQ To Thin ETF Lineup

IndexIQ, a subsidiary of New York Life Investment Management, has announced it will be closing three of its 24 ETFs in March. The three funds include the following:

Their last day of trading is set to be March 16. All three funds have $11 million or less in assets under management. The ETFs all launched in 2010 or 2011.

Closures are off to a speedy start in 2018 after breaking records in 2017. Barclays Bank alone has announced it will be closing or delisting 50 of its ETNs.
