U.S.-listed ETFs pulled in $34.6 billion in the week ending Oct. 3, marking another strong week of inflows as markets continued to rally.

U.S. fixed income ETFs led the way with $11.3 billion of inflows, ahead of the $5.6 billion that went into U.S. equity ETFs.

International equity ETFs also saw robust demand last week, gathering $8.7 billion. Total inflows for U.S.-listed ETFs in 2025 now stand at more than $950 billion, putting the industry on pace to top $1 trillion for the second straight year.

Top Individual Flows

The SPDR Portfolio S&P 500 ETF (SPLG) led all ETFs last week with $1.8 billion of inflows. SPLG’s 0.02% expense ratio undercuts the 0.03% fees charged by larger rivals like the Vanguard S&P 500 ETF (VOO) and the iShares Core S&P 500 ETF (IVV), helping it attract cost-conscious investors.

The S&P 500 extended its gains last week, hitting new records and bringing its year-to-date rise to more than 15%.

In second place, the iShares iBoxx $ High Yield Corporate Bond ETF (HYG) added $1.7 billion. High yield corporate bonds have rallied this year as yields have fallen and credit spreads versus Treasuries have tightened to their narrowest levels in years.

HYG is up 7.3% year to date, trailing the 7.8% gain for its investment grade counterpart, the iShares iBoxx $ Investment Grade Corporate Bond ETF (LQD).

Other notable flow winners from last week included the VanEck Semiconductor ETF (SMH), the SPDR Gold Shares (GLD), and the iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT). Each of those funds hit new highs last week alongside their underlying assets.

Gold recently surpassed $4,000/oz for the first time, Bitcoin topped $125,000, and semiconductors continued to surge on relentless demand for AI infrastructure.
