Investors poured money into U.S.-listed exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the final week of February, with $49.8 billion in net inflows as the S&P 500 hit a record high mid-month.

U.S. equity ETFs dominated, pulling in $32.1 billion, while U.S. fixed-income funds added $11.6 billion. International equity ETFs brought in $4.8 billion, and commodities ETFs gained $1.7 billion.

The SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY) led inflows with $15.3 billion, cementing its position as the largest ETF. The Vanguard S&P 500 ETF (VOO) followed with $3.3 billion, continuing its strong year-to-date performance. Investors also flocked to the iShares Core S&P 500 ETF (IVV) and the iShares S&P 500 Value ETF (IVE), each gathering around $2 billion.

On the outflows side, the iShares 20+ Year Treasury Bond ETF (TLT) lost $2.1 billion, reflecting investor caution toward long-duration bonds. Small-caps struggled, with iShares Russell 2000 ETF (IWM) shedding $1.6 billion. Bitcoin ETFs also took a hit—the iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) and Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) saw a combined $1.7 billion in outflows as crypto markets sold off hard.
