Investors added $32.8 billion to U.S.-listed ETFs last week as the Iran conflict remained front and center. That brings year-to-date inflows close to $500 billion just a little over three months into the year.

U.S. equity ETFs led the way with $17.9 billion of inflows, followed by U.S. fixed income ETFs with $8.9 billion. Currency ETFs were the only category to see outflows, shedding $253 million.

S&P 500 ETFs Lead

At the individual fund level, the Vanguard S&P 500 ETF (VOO) topped the list with $8 billion of inflows.

It was followed by the SPDR Portfolio S&P 500 ETF (SPYM), which brought in $4.6 billion. SPYM continues to edge out VOO on a year-to-date basis, with just over $29 billion of inflows in 2026 so far.

Other notable funds in the top 10 included the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ex China ETF (EMXC), which gathered $894 million, and the iShares Russell Mid-Cap ETF (IWR), which pulled in $771 million.

Outflows In Oil And Bonds

On the outflows side, the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY) led with $4.9 billion of redemptions, while the iShares Core U.S. Aggregate Bond ETF (AGG) followed with $1.7 billion of outflows.

Oil funds also saw selling, with the United States Oil Fund (USO) shedding $750 million as investors took profits after a sharp run-up in crude prices.
