ETF Report has been around for more than 20 years. It was the first ETF-focused publication in the U.S., and possibly the world. During the past few decades, it’s consistently provided analysis and coverage of the most pressing issues in the industry.
Having made the switch to digital at the start of the year, ETF.com has made the subsequent decision to bring the publication to an end for the immediate future with this issue.
But, to quote author Douglas Adams, “Don’t panic.” Almost all of the content you find in ETF Report is already easily accessible on our website via the tools and articles we provide. And with the effort that’s usually devoted to the design, writing and editing of ETF Report, we can focus on enhancing the content we currently offer on the site.
You’ll still get the same in-depth feature articles on a regular basis, and the information contained in the department pages can be accessed through the tools and subsections on ETF.com.
Information In Another Form
For example, the Launches page in ETFR draws its content from ETF.com’s ETF Watch page. Keep an eye out for added functionality on that part of the site in the coming weeks that will feature filings and a running count of launches and closures for the year, as well as an asset class breakdown.
Of course, our comparison tool and our stock finder, which are both featured in ETF Report, are available on the site. The data pages can largely be recreated using the settings in our ETF screener and database. Much of the information found in our Data At A Glance page can be found on the fund flows page, which includes our fund flows tool as well as daily, weekly and monthly articles noting the top inflows and outflows.
And the ETFR cryptocurrency page is largely drawn from our Bitcoin & Crypto option under the News & Strategy dropdown menu.
A New Frontier
ETF Report’s publisher ETF.com is going through a major evolution with a new executive team and a reinvigorated sense of direction. Exciting changes are planned for the future, and there’ll be more features and greater functionality added to the website, more podcasts to listen to and more newsletters that offer fresh content in addition to what already appears on ETF.com.
The company’s primary objective is to create a better user experience for our audience, and you really don’t want to miss out on the coming changes. Keep watching the website during the coming months for the planned design enhancements, the new tools, and the deeper and broader coverage we have in development.
