The Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ) was in vogue this week, powering U.S.-listed ETF inflows to $18.5 billion. The tech-heavy ETF brought in $5.2 billion on its own, leading the U.S. equity ETF segment to weekly inflows of $9.5 billion.

International equity ETFs and U.S. fixed income ETFs also did well, picking up $3.5 billion and $4.5 billion of new assets, respectively, during the week ending Thursday, October 15.

Year-to-date inflows now stand at $352.6 billion, ahead of the $211.7 billion seen at this same time a year ago.

Flows Winners

In addition to QQQ, notable flows winners this week included the First Trust Capital Strength ETF (FTCS), the iShares MBS ETF (MBB)  and the iShares ESG Aware MSCI USA ETF (ESGU)

The ProShares Online Retail ETF (ONLN) was another popular fund. Though it didn't make the top inflows list due to its relatively modest asset base, its assets under management jumped 69% over the past week, the most of any ETF with at least $200 million in AUM.

Prices for the fund are up a whopping 92% this year.

Outflows For 'EFA'

Meanwhile, on the outflows side, the iShares MSCI EAFE ETF (EFA), the SPDR Bloomberg Barclays High Yield Bond ETF (JNK) and the ProShares UltraPro QQQ (TQQQ)  had the largest redemptions of the week.
